Venue
This year, for the 31st British Juggling Convention, we travel to Canterbury for the first time and take up residence at The Langton Grammar School for Boys. Established in 1881, The Langton has a huge camping field, three large halls (the main one is wheel friendly), multiple workshop spaces, and their very own pool! We will be setting up a trials unicycle area within one of the quads, and outside will be the usual collaborations of food with Monty making a BJC return, Veggies and Love Waffles.
We chose this venue for many reasons, but we hope it also has everything that you are looking for in a BJC site too. There are showers next to the main hall, in the pavilion on the field, and also at the swimming pool. Toilets are of course dotted all over the site and we have many plans for lots to do all day and every evening too!
But that’s not all, Canterbury itself is set in the heart of the Garden of England; this beautiful city has the historic Norman built Cathedral, England’s largest surviving medieval gateway, and the ruins of one of three local Norman castles, amongst other ancient things. There is plenty to see around the local areas as well as in the city so we look forward to hosting you.
